About The Company
Our client is a not for profit registered Housing Association who provide affordable housing across Victoria. You will be working in a brand new modern office in Carlton, close to public transport and car parking nearby. The Role
Situated within the Finance Team, you will be responsible for full function Accounts Payable including:
- Process weekly, monthly and ad-hoc payment runs and upload payments using Greentree software accounting system
- Reconcile creditor statements
- Setting up new Suppliers
- Attend to accounts payable queries
- Perform daily and weekly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Processing credit card transactions
- Receipting invoices & processing payment collections
- Management of the credit card and expense reimbursement process
- Assist with month-end and year-end journals and reporting process
- General administration/activities relating to Finance
To be successful for this position, you will need…
- Proven experience in a high volume Accounts Payable role
- Experience with Accounting systems such as Greentree/MYOB
- Strong accuracy attention to detail
- Excellent time management, organisation skills and the ability to self manage
- Have a "can-do" and enthusiastic attitude
