The Company:
Based in Port Melbourne, we are looking for an experienced accounts payable to join an award-winning infrastructure organisation. The office is easily accessible by public transport, and free car parking is available.
The Role:
As part of the administration team, you will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable function and providing general administrative support, including:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconciling accounts on a monthly basis
- Entering purchase orders into the system
- Setting up new suppliers and sub contractors
- Performing data entry, including the creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
- Filing, organising, and archiving documents
- Responding to general customer inquiries
- Assisting with general administrative and finance-related activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a high-volume accounts payable role
- A strong ability to adapt to new systems, with a focus on data
- Experience with accounting systems such as PRONO
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to self-manage
- A "can-do" attitude and enthusiasm
